Hamlet 3:i&ii

I think that Hamlet himself is being characterized as someone who is insane. Though his conversation with Ophilia is a little off the wall, with regards to her needing to be in a convent, this also can be viewd as his was of saying goodbye. He knows that he is acting wacko, and undestands that people are relizing that he isnt funtioning right. But i dont really question his sanity. There is something about his ability to talk to his friends in a civil matter that makes me wonder how much of what he is doing is simply an act itself.

I agree with the part where you said that its possible that Hamlet is saying goodbye to Ophelia. I also agree that he has a little too much control over his behavior to be faking insanity. Good Job!
