Worldview Conflict

Hamlet is tweeking out because he is expected to fill big shoes. This conflict in worldview is in regard to his future kingdom. Not only is he disgusted by his family issues, which are completely twisted... but the entire state of Denmark is on country full of drunks. He is expected to be the next king, but his "insanity" has made everyone around him question that ability. This has to do with his fathers unexpected murder, his mothers overhastey marriage, and his uncle taking the crown. I would be pretty upset too.

Hamlet sees the world differently then his parents, he is repulsed by the state of the country that he was to take and quite frankly has every reason to be upset, to "go mad", whatever you call it.
